Are Mylko mylks any different from the carton varieties?

Yes – in quality, texture and taste! This means a much higher ratio of wholesome ingredients to filter water and no fillers, stabilizers, dairy, soy, carrageenan and xanthan gum or other unnecessary ingredients that are hard to pronounce. 

Does Mylko add sugar to its mylks?

No! Our products do not contain any refined sugars. Any sweetness is either naturally occurring, or from the addition of dates or maple syrup, depending on the variety.

Are your mylks organic?

Most of our products contain organic ingredients.

Do you use heat pasteurization?

No, we currently use cold pressure pasteurization which results in a product much closer to its original state when considering taste, texture and nutritional composition while killing potentially dangerous pathogens.

How long do your mylks last? Do they need to be refrigerated?

Please see best before sticker for guidance on unopened mylks. Once opened, our mylks are best consumed within 3-5 days.  Our mylks do not contain preservatives and should always be stored in the refrigerator. 

Why does the mylk separate?

Separation occurs due to the dense ingredients separating from water content. This separation is a testament to the purity of the product – as there are no additives to stop this from happening. Just shake well and it will be perfectly homogenous!
